The Bounty Project

In recent months we have been lucky enough to have worked with Conrad Humphreys and his stunning replica sail boat Bounty's End.

Conrad is a round the world yachtsman, public speaker and adventurer.  Last year he starred in the amazing Channel 4 series Mutiny, where he skippered, along with 8 other crew members, a replica long boat from the infamous Captain Bligh Bounty voyage. The trip saw them closely re trace the route that the original crew took when they where cast adrift by mutineers on that fatal day back in 1789. The crew also included Ant Middleton form the TV show who Dares Wins.

After they returned from an amazing 60 days sailing and filming across the South Pacific, Conrad decided to buy the boat and launched the Bounty Project, as a living-history programme for schools and people to experience some of the Bligh story.

To-date, Conrad has given over 50 talks to schools, colleges and corporate audiences. His speaking tour, “The Audacious Voyage” in 2017 sold out and he is now taking the boat to major events, schools and festivals across the UK.

“Our ambition is to create a legacy from the Channel 4 series and inspire young people to take a leaf from Captain Bligh’s book and venture out into the world with confidence, resilience, courage and determination.”

We have been filming with Conrad on Bounty's End at various places as a part of the Bounty Project.  This is our first short promo film, at a school in Plymouth, which highlights a typical day that Conrad spends at primary schools with the boat.
