Powertraveller - Cave adventures

As part of our continuing work for Powertraveller where we organise expeditions and shoot content in places such as Snowdonia and Scotland, we are pleased to showcase our latest film for them. A hiking and cave adventure in the wilds of the Lake District.

With SkyRise director and adventurer Kev in front of the camera, and Gavin Kaps of Osprey Imagery on cams and drone, a two day hike and over night camp in an incredible mountain top cave was the subject for a short promo film for Powertraveller.

This kind of shoot, where the terrain and weather conditions can be equally tough, takes a lot of skill and a high level of fitness. Carrying heavy film kit, plus camping kit up steep mountains can be test of the hardiest of camera operators, But despite a lot of sweat and aching backs, the film shoot was a success and Powertraveller were thrilled with the results.
